Six ranking police officials were included in the latest reorganization of the Philippine National Police.
In a Dec. 19 order that took effect on Friday, PNP chief Gen. Rommel Marbil designated Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Bernard Yang as the new chief of the Anti-Cybercrime Group.

Ronnie Cariaga, who was reassigned to the Area Police Command in Northern Luzon after being relieved over a raid on a Philippine offshore gaming operator hub in Manila. Brig. Gen. Manuel Abrugena, deputy director of Special Action Force, will be the acting SPD chief, replacing Yang.

Col. Erosito Miranda was assigned officer in charge of regional staff at the NCRPO headquarters while Col. Amante Daro was named chosen to be acting deputy director for administration of the Northern Police District; Col. Randy Glenn Silvio as acting deputy director for administration of the Quezon City Police District and Col. Rodel Pastor acting deputy director for operations of the SPD respectively.
