The Capitals restricted the Super Kings at 99/9 in 20 overs before completing the 100-run chase in just 12 overs to gain a victory with a bonus point.
The win, which comes after three consecutive losses and a no result, helps the Capitals to reignite their play-off hopes. They now have 14 points from eight games, just one less than Joburg Super Kings who have played the same number of games for 15 points.
