MANILA, Philippines — Just days before the New Year holiday, two suspects were arrested for selling P60,000 worth of illegal firecrackers online, the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) reported on Thursday.
fruit party 2According to the PNP-ACG, a cyber patrol was conducted on the “Online Paputok & Pailaw” Facebook page on Monday, where cybercops monitored the public posts of suspects advertising illegal firecrackers.

Article continues after this advertisementAn operation led to the arrest of two individuals in San Fernando, Pampanga, on the same day, and the following illegal firecrackers, amounting to P60,000, were seized:

In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil and Shell Pilipinas said the per-liter prices of gasoline and diesel would be reduced by 50 centavos and 70 centavos, respectively.
